So in January I signed up for Macworld as "Satan Lord of Darkness." When I got to the badge booth, the lady didn't have me on file even though I had the receipt. She looked it up and said the badge had been filtered and that I need a photo ID for them to override.
Unfortunately, I didn't have one with that name on it. So they made me a new badge with my normal name.  Although she did comment that my badge was the best one so far. They started filtering because they had about 20 people try to get a badge as "Steve Jobs."
Next year I'll be ready.  We have a ID print machine here at my work and I'm going to print up a photo ID with Satan Lord of Darkness. My geek factor will go up by 10 with the coolest Macworld badge.

You forgot about the part where you sneak in the back door and yell and scream and announce how unfair it was that you weren't allowed to attend, and that you've decided to attend anyhow.
