My word I've been busy. I haven't slept for more than 3 hours in the last 3 days. I don't think my iMac has been off since Monday. I just got done with a presentation and recorded music all day today. Last night I set up for the National Day of Prayer at my school from 2 PM to 11 PM (I got to school at 5 that morning) then came home and did homework to about 3 AM. Then this morning I left for school at 5 AM to finish setting up. I'm at home right now for a few minutes, but then I have to leave to go to small group, then drive to Denver to pick up a friend at 12 at night, then come home and do homework until who knows when then go to school (on my birthday). I need rest. Seriously.

MacNN comes before sleep.
Remember that.

I normally just post when I'm waiting for a meeting or something right now. Small group was cancelled tonight due to Spiderman 3, so I'm gonna take a nap and then leave to go to Denver.

...your body hates you, get some rest or you'll be no good to anyone.

I've never been able to go without sleep for large stretches of time. The longest I've gone without sleep is something like 30 hours (which I promptly rectified with 18 hours of sleep).
That said, I can function on about 4 hours of sleep for almost an entire work week, but my speech gets interesting after 2 days.

I "function" even if I haven't slept for a few days, but to be able to think creatively on demand and not just process information I need at least 6 hours.
