So I was reading reviews on CNet today and happened to read a review on Tiger. Fairly good review, pretty good score considering some of the cons listed were a little silly. Then I looked at a review for one of the iMacs (the 24" I think), and I noticed that one of the cons as per the usual was that it was expensive, or that some of the upgrade features were expensive, etc. That made me stop and wonder what was written about Vista Extreme or whatever the hell its called. So I checked the review for Vista, and noticed that the rating was at least lower than Tiger. But when I read the list of cons for that ultimate edition piece of garbage, there was absolutley no mention on the $300(and change) price tag. In fact, if you look at the pro con section for each of the Vista editions, they use the same pros and cons for each edition. Seriously!! And then they wonder why Mac users tend to be a little on the defensive side. There was no mention of M$ price gouging for a few feature upgrades. But oh the Mac tends to be more expensive...blah...blah..blah. What do you guys think?

You said the all versions of Vista's had the same Pro's and Con's, so the reviewer must've reviewed one version and CNet used that review for all the versions of Vista instead of having different reviews for different versions.

Personally, I think the 24" iMac is priced just right, but I would rather get a Mac Pro (when you cut down on some of the things) at that price.

Apostrophes aren't used to make words plural.

They're priced about right for the features you get. The advantage for a PC is that you get to choose exacty which features you want, so you can minimize the cost of a computer. With Apple, you have to get a stylish case that looks awesome, there's no option to get a $10 ATX case.
