Chevy Chase has not updated us on his status in years. I need to know if Generalisimo Francisco Franco is still dead, or if he is alive again.

Come to think of it, I haven't heard anything from Chevy Chase in years. Is Chevy Chase still alive?

There are some ornaments and his name still here in Salamanca at the Plaza Central. No statues, though I think.

I'm pretty sure he's more dead than Chevy Chase, though!

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Chevy Chase is still himself and we're not. And Generalisimo Franco is still quite dead. I'm glad to hear that he's not forgotten though-whether you believe he "meant well" and wanted to "save Spain" or that he was evil, that's an immense part of Spanish history that should not be lost. I personally think it's very sad that the rest of the world didn't see what was happening during the Civil War and understand what it meant. Might have changed a few minds earlier and saved a lot of lives...
