I had a "Street Board" back in the day, you wiggled your way about and could go up hills... wowzer.

(It would've been awesome, but you were strapped to it and would wipe out over 20mph.)

I enjoyed it until I scarred up my left arm trying to do the simplest of tricks. I skated by myself when I was young and no one in the South did it, but gave it up when I was about 15 so I could concentrate on being a geek.

I saw a few losers out just yesterday, tearing up stuff in a parking lot with some LONG boards. I figure it probably took the cops about 10 minutes to come talk to them -- they should know better.

I'd never seen boards so long, though. I guess mommy and daddy are paying for that fad, too.

Only when I'm drunk. It usually doesn't end so well.

I'm sure I have some pictures of injuries somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

Longboarding has been around for a while now. It's a different type of boarding and someone longboarding generally doesn't "tear stuff up".

A longboard is to a beach cruiser as a skateboard is to a BMX bike.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

You have a very negative attitude towards "loser" skaters.

What's the matter, a couple skater kids beat you up in high school???

Right...

It's a matter of property damage. I've seen far too many skateboard losers tearing stuff up and not enough behaving responsibly over the years. I've also seen too many ignoring the "no skateboarding" signs. I don't have any problem with folks doing it without disrespecting others. I rode a board just about every day of my first two years of college, just to get to class, but I stayed out of people's way.

I hate you. You seek to destroy all you lay eyes on.
