I'm looking for a sound that I can bring into iMovie that sound like the record stopped.

I know that makes no sense. But, try this...

A group is standing there and club music is playing. (bass-bass-bass-bass-bass-bass)
Then a hot girl or some bad ass walks in and it's the sound like the needle squeaked across the record and the music stops.

Maybe I could create this?

You only need the bass music and the record stopping sound, you should be able to google (or create) those sounds and then put them together?

I can probably just use some bass out of Garage Band, it's the scratch I need. I don't have Audio Hijack. Let me see if I can hear this somehow....
