Has anyone tried this out? I see that they seem to be offering it at all the Apple Stores here. I'm thinking about trying it out this week. Sounds kinda interesting, like they let you ask questions without being bothered by other people and get to spend time with the Mac/iPod/ tv that you are interested in.

Edit: Actually it's called Personal Shopping. One to One is training.

I spent some quality time with a loaf of bread at Kroger yesterday. It was whole wheat. All told, it was a great experience and I ended up taking it home.

mmmmm. good.

My father just purchased the one-to-one training. I just convinced him to switch. I really like what they offer at the Apple store. We will see how it goes.

The thing is I know what I want at the Apple Store. Meanwhile, with all these Personal Shopping, fee-based One to One 'Personal training' at the Apple retail sore, I kind of feel bad for other Apple authorized dealers.

Why? There is nothing stopping other retailers for offering a similar service.
