I bought a pack of 25 "Matrix" 8X DVD-DL disks, and every time I burn a movie to one of them, it freezes about half way through. I'm guessing at the point where it has to switch from layer one to layer two. I've read that Verbatim's are flawless, but I also know that Memorex should be pretty reliable.

I want the best 8x DL-DVD's that I can find. I just need like, a 25 pack or something, so it doesn't matter how expensive they are, i'm not buying alot.

Thanks.

Dual Layer Media Section @ supermediastore.com [I use these ]

Before you go ahead and buy any of those, try burning at the lowest speed if you already havent. As far as the seller goes, excellent and fast shipping.

Hope that helps

It had occurred to me to try burning slower, but i'd never actually tried it. Those disks look great. I think i'll buy some of those and see how they work!

Thanks.

whoa! I just bought three Verbatim like those but at $5,25 per disc and being that the most affordable dual layers I was able to find (we are talking about euro-zone here but such a huge difference makes no sense anyway).
