Can we have a one-week moratorium on lolcats?
Here's a texty version of the story:
WWT spokeswoman Jane Waghorn said: "Fernando and Carlos are a same sex couple who have been known to steal other Flamingos' eggs by chasing them off their nest because they wanted to rear them themselves.
"They were rather good at sitting on eggs and hatching them so last week, when a nest was abandoned, it seemed like a good idea to make them surrogate parents."
The pair, who have been together for about six years, can feed their chick without any female help - by producing milk in their throat.
I mean, really, what else is there to say? I'm happy for them ( as flamingos, even though I disapprove of their actions).

I hate those f**king lolcats to pieces! They're annoying in the way kids on American sit-coms trying to be cute but trying too hard and hamming it up are annoying! They make we want to vomit! They make me want to stomp on cats with jackboots! They make me want to put every stupid lolcat with its cutesy-cutsey garbled-English caption in a vat of boiling acid with a giant razor-sharp cheese grater for a ramp so they try to climb out but end up slicing themselves to pieces and falling back into the boiling acid!
