Does the 7 day return policy (is it seven?) only apply to Macs bought at the Apple Retail Store, or can I return a product bought on the Apple Store online to an Apple Retail Store?

I'm stickler when it comes to dead pixels, so when I order my MacBook Pro, I'd like to return it immediately if it has dead pixels. I'm also getting the 7,200 RPM BTO, wasn't sure having a BTO laptop affects the return policy.

I know in Canada you have 14 days to return a product. I believe it's law.

Phew! Thanks for the clarification. OK, then I'll just get the normal one and buy a 7,200 RPM HD later.

Apple says:

Please note that Apple does not permit the return of or offer refunds for the following products:

1. Product that is custom configured to your specifications

But many people have reported returning BTO Macs.
