I haven't seen too much written up about this.
While the old one was definitely getting long in the tooth how does this one rub you?
My $.02 - it looks nice however its a little harder to navigate to some areas. For instance Developer's connection. Where's the link. there was a direct link on the main menu before now its gone. (its developer.apple.com)
I think they need a little more refining work here and there but over al lita

It's ok, not ground breaking. I went to look at some movie trailers last night and it took me a few minutes to find where they are now.

Much harder to navigate. Try finding about the Leopard Server changes, it's really hidden.

I agree, I knew the address for the ADC stuff (I'm on the fence to joining). I stumbled upon a couple of pages that pulled up the old theme last night but today they've been updated so its clear they're still working on rolling out the design.
Overall I'm pleased they finally updated the site.

I like it... some things I couldn't find too easily. Like the Remote Desktop application page (they only list some of their apps under applications, wtf?). Their search is stunning, taking a page from Inquisitor

I like it, but not sure about those horizontal scroll bars.
Also where is .mac now?
{EDIT}
Hidden half way down a page

I like it. But I had a heck of a time finding the Developer Connection. I do like the live searching though, it's much, much, better than the old search.

Seconded. I thought it looks really nice.
It'll take some getting used to, but everything does.

It's OK. The old one was simpler but this one is more beautiful.

I love the new design. It also seems to load a lot faster.

It looks better, but, as others have pointed out, it is harder to find some things at first.

Damn skippy. Love Safari 3. Really like the new look of the site, too. I really like that navigation box at the bottom of all the pages, too, that shows the levels of navigation you've traveled, in addition to listing other locations to hop to. I'm actually finding it way easier to navigate and get around. Took a few minutes to catch on to what they were going for (especially after years and years of that old design). Good work.

Anyone notice that the search box works like Spotlight?

The new search box is amazing to say the least....very impressive. Harder to navigate initially, but it will catch on. I'm perplexed how the ".Mac" tab didn't make it back on the front page though...

Once I realized where everything is, I liked it.
Initially it took me a while to find QuickTime and the movie trailers.

The new QuickTime "skin" they have when viewing all the demos is appalling at best in Safari. No QT controls at all any longer...
Firefox plays the QT movies in the old skin though.

Except that, for some reason, it seems to require the cursor to be placed about 20 pixels to the right of the right end of the scroll bar itself in order to be able to drag it...

It works like a perfectly normal scroll bar here.

I'm just glad the Aqua interface is gone -- it was so 2001. How many sites since then have copied Apple.com's Aqua-esque tabs? The new brushed metal look seems a lot more refined and grown up.

That’s odd... Here, if I want to drag the scrollbar along, not by using the buttons on the end but the bar itself, either the cursor or the scrollbar jumps until the cursor is about 20 pixels to the right of the scrollbar, before letting me scroll. Looks very odd.
