Hi,
I just returned from a trip to Korea, for a beautiful wedding (brother in law's), and I think I left my heart over there, in that great land.

I bought a souvenir with Korean script on my last day over there, but haven't had the time to ask a local what it means:

What does it say? T.I.A.

"You will never get your heart back. It's ours now."

Man I'm bored. I wish I could help! Glad to hear you had a cool trip

Take care

I apparently have no ability to read Korean calligraphy, because I can't figure out what half of the letters are in that. Sorry.

It says "cheo um cheo reom."

처음처럼

What that means, is another matter.

I'll get back to you. Can't type Korean at work.
Which part were you in? Great country.

I was in Seoul most of the time, the DMZ and a car ride through all the east coast. The food was excellent, BTW

Oh nice! Yeah, Seoul at night is just amazing. And yeah, the food is awesome too.
From what I can tell, the main text means "like the beginning/like the start." But I'll double check that with a Korean friend.

Straight from my Korean friend:

"hmm..something like.. go back to the mind..or the attitude when you first started something. Like..all full of hope and energy and good and...
like..a bird who experiences flying for the first time
like a sprout which first experiences the world over the ground
even if..we're almost finishing some kind of work
like..do your best and ...blah blah"

edit: mduell's translation is better.

"Like the first time"

The sentence below that goes on saying that for everything you do, you have to do it once for the first time.
