Paris Hilton has been released from prison, presumably in order to get an iPhone on the day of its release.

Paris has been seen using various types of T-Mobile Sidekicks, but the iPhone's ease of use will make it an attractive option for her, say friends.

"Obviously she likes being able to type quick messages to her parents and friends, but the Sidekick's interface created problems when she would attempt to use the phone's other features. She's really looking forward to being able to scroll around with the flick of a finger."

If Apple is smart they will make sure to never photograph Paris Hilton holding an iPhone. People would then decide to not buy it.
