I saw a bit of the interview on Larry King... I'm surprised her brain is able to keep her heart beating without assistance

I'm all for standing up for good news judgment and everything, but what a 2-year-old. I loved how that guy was urging her to stand up and then later he made the editor put on the clip of Paris and started talking about what a good Christian she is now. That newslady looked so betrayed.

Funny where ppl like her are shunned for integrity, and some little slut can make the news front story when iraqi civilians die everyday needlessly and american soldiers have another vietnam.
Ohh but wait Paris hilton was released.....If the media ignored her...she would go away.
This is a classic example when entertainments blurs with news...

If you have integrity because you think it will make you successful in everything you do, you're greatly misunderstanding the situation.
Also, something that happened that day could quite legitimately be considered bigger news than "Yep, people are still dying." Reporting as your lead story every day that fighting is still going on in Iraq seems a bit like "Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead." (This isn't to say that there weren't bigger stories than Paris, but leading with Iraq every day would just make it look like you have an axe to grind.)
