Miss iPhone Piggy

I could use words like, dumb and blonde, but that would be stating the obvious?

That lady's a pathetic, money-grubbing bitch. I'm glad that AT&T/Apple imposed a one-per-customer rule, although there's obviously a ton of these already on eBay.

That kid she paid $800 to get his spot at the front of the line was pretty good, though. I thought he was charismatic for what was likely his first appearance on television.

She needs to know WTF shes getting into next time, maybe look into the product she intends to sell. Everybody, I think, knew that you could only buy 1 iPhone per person.

Too funny, she all smug and arrogant only to find out she couldn't buy out the store.

The sad thing is you not onyl see a lot of the iphones on ebay but people willing to spend 700,800,1000 bucks for one. why not just wait a little while (or order it online at apple.com) instead of paying 100% mark up on ebay.

When you first see her saying "I'm going to buy $100,000 worth of iphones", I completely pictured the reporter hitting her in the head with the mic and saying "Shut your mouth." That would have been...awesome.

I thought there was a 2 per person limit?

that lady was out of touch. I wouldn't buy anything pretending to be an iPhone off ebay anyhow.

I don't get it.... from what i hear, that phone(the US version) is locked onto the at&t network, so if someone buys one on eBay, theyre going to have to eventually sign up with at&t anyway.

The only advantage, to the buyers on eBay, would be if the phone was not tied to a particular network, or if they just want it for the novelty and iPod features without having to commit to a new contract right away.

And yeah....piggy got a little greedy . Im just glad Apple had enough for launch.

That's from our local Fox affiliate... How awesome that it made YouTube so the world can laugh at her too! She's lucky she didn't get mugged flashing 16 grand in cash around....

That area of Dallas is notorious for "Miss Piggies" and I wouldn't be surprised if she tired bribing the store manager off camera. I believe Apple Stores have the two phone limit, and AT&T stores have a one phone limit.

I applaud Apple and AT&T from preventing people like "Miss Piggy" from ruining the iPhone market and ensuring that everyone that wants to purchase an iPhone can.

Miss Piggy, the world is laughing at you!

She would have had to sell those phones on eBay pretty quick to make a profit, IMO. Instead of Friday, I walked into the local AT&T store over here on Saturday at about 5:00 PM to play with a display model a bit and see a few things for myself. There was no line at all to do that, and apparently they must have still had some iPhones in stock, because some other guy was walking out with one as I walked in.

Paying an outrageous price on eBay for a phone seems kinda silly when you can get one for the regular (albeit still outrageous) price at the store just by waiting one day.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

I like that guy's assessment. She's an idiot for paying him 800 bucks.

Yep. What a moran.

I think it's 1 in the AT&T stores, and 2 in the Apple Stores.

Esp. when you can still get it at the Apple Store immediately, or directly from Apple in a couple of weeks.

She wanted to spend $100 000 on iPhones to go on eBay? This woman have some distorted business sense.

Makes you wonder where she got that $100K in the first place.

I don't think she would have made that much on eBay for what it's worth. But kudos to that kid for pulling one over on her.
