Universal Music Group, the world's biggest music corporation, notified Apple that it will not renew its annual contract to sell music through iTunes... Developing...

This comes as quite a shock: Apple and Universal could both lose a lot of money from this. I wonder why they would do something like this, and if it is actually going to happen.

Maybe it's because Apple won't pay them $1 per iPod, like MS did with the Zune.
