Maybe a lawyer can translate some of this. I scrolled down to he counter-claims and read them. She is suing because the investigators the RIAA used were not even licensed in Texas. B-E-A-utiful!
Edit: Also on slashdot, which confirmed it for me. Very nice. I hope she wins big off them. Maybe they'll start to get a clue.

I am not a lawyer, but from what I make out of it her lawyers have asked for the right to add a complaint to her counter-claim. There might be some rule or procedure making this difficult, thus she has to ask the judge to be allowed to do it.

I'm not a lawyer, but I know my way around a legal document well enough to explain. The RIAA brought a lawsuit against her for illegally sharing music. In addition to claiming that their evidence is pathetic, she accuses the RIAA of basically two things that she wants the judge to award her damages for:
1. She says that the RIAA's lawsuit is obviously extortion.
2. She says the method the RIAA used to gather evidence is inadmissible in Texas, and the RIAA went ahead with its lawsuit knowing full well that it was based on faulty evidence.
