the only thing I know so far is:
circuit city over best buy. Bb has crap customer service.
The foot of my bed is about 3 feet from the wall where the tv will be mounted, so a 30"+ is probably a good size. I think I have to get LCD at this size....which is fine.
Brand suggestions? Any other suggestions? Thanks for the expert macnn advice.

J&R has always been good to me - they had a better selection and beat the competition's prices.

Get a TV from CostCo - 90 day return policy and a 2 year warranty standard. They have a Vizio 32" for around $600 last time I checked. Good TV - I have one in my bedroom now.

Definitely Costco. Their return policies are insanely good.
Got an email ad from them the other day showing a 42" Magnavox 1080p LCD for $999.

I'm happy with my relatively cheap Olivia 32". No built in tuner which is fine for me since I have cable in my apt. Even with tax it was under $500.
