There's a very rare genetic disorder where muscles don't suffer from atrophy, but is similar to myotonia congenita where the muscles have a hard time relaxing. There is only one recorded case in humans, but there have been numerous cases in varying animals. You've probably seen the boy, he was like 12-years-old and ripped like a 30-year-old body builder; news stories made the rounds a few years back.
