I bought 2 of these same kind of chairs (without the fancy Eddie Bauer stitching) for $9.99 each before camping out for the iPhone. Exact same design, and I bet these were Made in China too.

The people who pay these prices are probably the same people who pay for high gas prices when only a few blocks away there is a cheaper gas station and sometimes it's the same brand of gas! Some people just don't shop around for the best prices.

If you need them now, and the target ones are $30 each.... who knows. $50 for both sounds like a good deal when the asking price is $80.

Whaddya bet that the seller just paid $289 for the "Get rich on the Internet" seminar.

He's well on his way to making a non-typical result of $8,000 a week!

I'd be happy if the transactions didn't involve;

- Is the item still available?
Yes.
- When can I see it?
You can see it on ___,____, ____ or ______
- I get paid on Friday and would like to pick it up then okay?
Okay.

Hello?

I mean, why do people insist on inquiring about an item they obviously cannot afford or will not purchase? I think craigslist appeals to people with compulsive issues.

same problem existed on ebay, people charging over retail for used items. My thought is: They work at Store X, get the discount, and are looking to earn profit on their discount.

I guess someone decided to port it to craigslist.

I made $$ yesterday from craigslist, so it isn't all bad.

If the Eddie Bauer brand wasn't ever attached to an Explorer, I might consider it quality.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

The difference is never more than like 2%. The gas used to get several blocks down would probably come close to negating the 90 cents I'd save.

I guess you don't have larger jumps in prices in you area then. There is a gas station next to my house that is selling regular gas for $3.65 and only a block away there is one selling gas for $3.10. Unless my math is wrong that's more than 2% and a block away isn't much to drive, but the $3.65 gas station has a decent amount of customers.

I agree if the other gas station is much further away then you probably won't be saving much but if there is a cheaper one only a block away then I say go for it. My point is some people don't know what the price should be for certain products because they don't shop around.

Wow, that is a difference. Most places I've been, it's usually like $3.49 at one place and $3.40 at another.

No kidding. I see at max a 20 cent difference in the area stations. Mostly it's just 10 cents difference, between $2.78 and $2.88.
