SkypeIn isn't free, but it's damn cheap.
Or try Gizmo Project plus the very cool GrandCentral for phone calls that simultaneously (optionally) ring your home, cell, and computer; or routes calls to one or more of those depending on the caller. Plus personalized greeting messages for each contact, and seamless transfer of calls between any of your phones, etc. etc. read.
