I am hoping this smacks Ibanez in the noggin.
Remember when you could buy a new 550 for less than $600 US? These are selling for slightly under $1000 to slightly over.
The neck and better pickups, and the trem license is what raised the price on the newer 550s. That and the nice extras like the case.
I'd love to get one of the rosewood fretboard models. But I am not a block heel or Edge fan for the most part.
I'd love the 550 model they had out RIGHT before they killed it. It had the LoPro and the AANJ.
I owned a black 550 back in 1993. RIGHT BEFORE the AANJ additions.
