Completely wichting the selling price of the island amounts to EUR 25.000.000, 00 and not EUR 250,000, 00 the correct amount läst itself unfortunately in ebay the mask does not enter.

Eur 25,000,000 is what over 40 million US Dollars?
Apparently eBay only goes upto 250,000? I don't know, whatever they are trying to say. I used Google Translate to get this translation.

Crap, I knew it sounded to good to be true. I admit I didn't read the whole listing, just some and looked at the pictures.
It's estimated to be around $40 million Euros when the resort is completed, which is around $54,608,432.17 USD.

Plenty of islands out there which are around €250k. OK, so they're usually less than 10 acres, but they're still islands.

I guess the main problem with many of these smaller islands is having a stable supply of fresh water.

Natural, yes.
But a few solar panels hooked into a small desalination plant in your basement, you're sorted.

I don't think zombies are natural swimmers, but if they know fresh brains are to be found then they might try that underwater stroll thing, à la Romero's Land of the Dead.

With sea levels rising this might not be the investment I'd go for.

You've been misinformed:
Not only are sea levels rising, the rise is predicted to accelerate. This partly due to the oceans heating up - warmer water takes up more space, this is basic physics. That the oceans are getting warmer is not contested by anybody.

You mean to say that by the time I die, the seas will be up another 10 cm? What will happen to that island, then? Oh, wait, nothing.

Oceans that are on average 10cm higher do not mean that you just lose 10cm of beach front. It means that your beach front property is now much more vulnerable to high tides and to storm damage. There are studies out there that predict that by the end of this century sea levels can be, in places, up to 3 ft higher than they are today.
That's why the Dutch, who know a thing or two about storms and water, are urgently updating their coastal defences. If you find this subject of interest, here are a couple of links for you.
National Snow and Ice Data Centre
National Geographic
There are people like Dr. Nils-Axel Mörner who don't believe that ocean levels are indeed rising and they are being frequently wheeled out of the closet by the climate change doesn't exist crowd. However, these are in the minority and their arguments are generally understood to be of questionable merit. The choice of who you believe is of course yours but it should be an informed one.

The question is, do rising global sea levels help protect us from future zombie threats?

In the entire history of mankind, the genius (who usually turns out to be correct) is always the one who's standing alone against what the consensus says.
Anyways. This is about islands. And the naked hot chicks which you took with you to the island. Not bloody ecomentalist politics again.

So, you get the island.
You put an ad in the paper or online. "Hot totty: Get away from the rat race and laze about on the beach all day for ever".
The only problem will be getting an island big enough to fit all the qualifying applicants on.
(And, of course - they're the first line of defence against the zombies. If the zombies are eating all the totty on the beach, they're not eating you, right?)

I've seen this scene in a movie once....and then the dinosaurs get out! I would be very cautious with this purchase.

I try not to look at your sig... especially after eating breakfast. But lets not get into the sig debate again.

Easy enough to solve - make it a timeshare.

True, but I would leave this part out of the brochure.

Of course!! But I suppose I'll have to mix things up a bit to keep it interesting.
Oh... and I've learned a new word as well. Always nice to discover new ways to refer to the anatomy.
But back to the island. Seems totally impractical. But I guess if you have that kind of money...
