I just bought an iPhone a week ago today, and while I love it, I love the new iMacs more! So, If I return it (it is opened, so I know about the 10% thing) will my sales tax be refunded also? I'm going to get it returned at a California Apple Store (if that makes a difference, I dont know...)
Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, what do you like about the new iMac?
It's ok, but not a giant leap from the previous model.

Well that's actually a good question. I think that I'm actually going to buy an older refurb if they still have them when I get my next paycheck. But, I do like the glossy screen and the new keyboard. I'd only be buying one for cosmetic purposes.

Have you activated the phone too? If you cancel the plan you may be subject to a termination fee. I have no idea how much AT&T charges but Verizon charges a lot. This would almost certainly exceed the amount of sales tax you'd get back from returning the iphone.

In the first 30 days, you can cancel the plan at anytime for no fee.

That's what I thought too, but I wasn't sure about it. I didn't know if the law had changed any over the years.
BTW, I think the new iMac is really cool. I don't care for the chicklet keyboard, but I like the main unit. You can use that keyboard with any Mac. It's USB.
