This morning I woke up with an idea in my head. For the last few months I've been thinking about starting a web comic but I couldn't think of a good idea. This morning I got it, but I don't know if something similar is out there. How can I find out?

Short of trawling through all web comics in the world, you can’t. Give it a shot, and if it turns out someone’s had a similar idea before you did, so be it.

I admit, I can't really tell Rumor, Laminar, and Dakar apart. They just merge into some "ends in 'r', posts constantly" composite.
