Can I use Motorola V170 for Modem ?

I have now Motorola V170. With Bluetooth they gave me the possibility to connect via FAI (with dialup or high speed). i tried to connect with my home internet provider via dialup. Which script of modem do I chose - apple internal modem or motorola? Is it possible to do what I'm trying?

I have a Macbook with system 10.4.10.
