From the top 10 list, I have only seen one of them.

I've seen about half the top 10: Fast Times, Breakfast Club, Dazed and Confused, Donnie Darko, Mean Girls and Clueless. I had no idea Donnie Darko was a teen movie. I also don't think I appreciated the '80s ones as much as people who actually saw them in the '80s.

Are you too young or too old? I've seen most of those movies five times or more. They're quite good (I don't know much about the newer two (Donnie Darko and Mean Girls)).

pshh..

Jerry Mitchell just bumped into Buddy Revell. Now Jerry isn't thinking about math or english. Because at three o'clock, he's history.

Donnie Darko is probably my favorite movie on that list, I've seen them all a bunch of times.

Donnie Darko is about as much of a teen movie as House of a 1000 Corpses is a family movie.

I've seen all of them except Mean Girls. I can't disagree with any of the picks (although I certainly would've included American Pie). I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Lucas.

I like and have seen most of those movies. My sentimental favourite for sure is Heathers - I absolutely loved that movie when I was younger. Along the same lines, I would have added Pump Up the Volume to the list - another teen gem.

I've only seen three of them, but Deat Poets Society is one of my favorite movies of all-time. It's actually the only full movie on my iPod.

No, that thread was about whether they make teen movies anymore. This thread already knows the answer: Donnie Darko is the new teen flick.

What about "Reform School Girls" Starring Wendy O Williams?
