I have fond, vivid memories of visiting my grandmother(dad's mom) who lived there back in the early 80's. I was young, but remember it being a nice place.
I also went to Marco Island a couple of times. I'd love to retire there.
If you happen to enjoy fishing then I think you'll love west coast florida living!
