Hello There!

I would like to share with you the first minute of my day today. I'm working a 6am-6pm shift today, which sucks, but that wasn't exciting enough.

I woke up at a sexy 4:36 AM this morning before my alarm (always fun) and decided to just get up. I washed clothes last night, so I decided to walk downstairs and grab them before heading to the shower. That, my friends, was my first mistake. The second mistake was doing this without any lights on.

"What happened next, Mike?", you ask. Let me tell you. With eyes still a measly 1/4 of the way open, without the brain turned on, I went on my trek downstairs. Only problem is, on the 3rd step down I must have completely missed the step. Oh yes. But, that wasn't the fun part! The fun part was becoming airborne like a fricken' feather, flying at least 3 or 4 steps down.

The mid-air "throw-your-arms-out-and-save-your-life" ninja trick I have used on so many occasions failed me, as my left arm slammed into the wood railing. Smashing the underside of your wrist and forearm is always quite a nice experience. But, that was while I was still airborne, see.

With my bulging biceps and totally tubular triceps failing me, it became an immediate OH moment. Believe it or not, I felt a piercing pain as a corner of a step slammed itself into my back, laughing at me the whole time.

After sliding down a couple more steps after impact, I decided that this was not going to be one of my better days.

4:37 AM didn't feel so hot, either.

The End.

Have a great weekend-
Mike

So I'm guessing that is what "the wrong side of the bed" is.

You know it's going to be a bad day when you take pain reliever before you have your morning orange juice.

Agreed. To cap off the day, my dog just jumped at my head causing me to throw it back into the corner of the coffee table. I cannot wait for tomorrow..

You’re supposed to run at 2 AM, not 4.36 AM. That was your mistake right there.

So you must only get a couple of hours sleep a night since you run at 2am
