We have about 12 multimedia laptop carts from Apple throughout the various campuses. Apple has decided to use Bretford and we've had nothing but problems. At least half (maybe more) have had bad timers on the power supplies. 4 of the carts' wheels are falling off, two of them were brand new!

Shody construction and Bretford's customer support is also shoddy. They're reluctant to help us replace the cars (I'm guessing becuase of the freight shipping), even the new ones that came with broken wheels.

Anyone suggest a different company to buy a multimedia laptop cart from?

Hm. I've had some problems with the timers on their carts, and one of them had a bad wheel. But Bretford was all too happy to send out new timer mechanisms, and out-right replace the cart with the broken wheel (they even let us keep the busted one, which we fixed enough to put into active service).

Maybe you just need to know how to finagle them?
