I live in NYC. I have time warner with DVR. For the past year I've had HD.

And most channels work great. But Showtime, seems to drop audio during every show at say 3 or 4 points during a 1/2 show. It's weird. Just a glitch with no sound.

Anyone else experience this?

I assume it has something to do with 1080i.

I've had more than 1 box and it still does it. Could it be my HDMI cable?

More than likely it's your cable. Have someone come out and test your cable signal.

Are your other HD channels okay?
When we had HD installed all of our channels were fine except some of the HD ones. It ended up being that our actual cable cable was old and thus wasn't "good enough for HD" or something.

They swopped out all our cables and after that everything was fine.

I think mdc could be correct about your problem. I had this issue in my previous house. We had some good signals but others would appear to have some type of interference. It turned out to be the cable from outside leading into the house was not good for HD signals. The cable company upgraded the cable with a modern version that worked very well.

Best thing to do is have the cable company come out to take a look. Good luck!
