I love these!

Comedy Network (Canada's equivalent of Comedy Central) is advertising this show... It's only available online, and each episode is only about 1 minute, but they are really funny!

Did three in hopes of the funny, but it did not show. Points for the silly idea, though.

I would say they are quirkily funny. Although, after watching a couple episodes I found myself laughing *at* them more so than laughing *with* them. It's a pretty stupid concept but funny in a bizarre sorta way. . . . Or, maybe that's just me.

"It doesn't really come up...unless there's a census."

That part made me smile.

Woah there. Let's not get too excited.

I gave it a qualified endorsement. Let me watch some more episodes before I give it a or .

Episode 2 (The Prequel):
Excellent dialogue.
"So, I'm like a night owl."
"Me too."
"I mean, I'm like a real owl. When you say it, it's just an expression. When I say it it's because I'm like a real owl . . . a night owl."

Episode 3:
dumb dialogue.

Episode 4: (neutral)
okay dialogue. It took too long to get to the "Godfather" discussion.

Episode 5:
Good dialogue.
"Most owls can write. I just can't write cause I'm dyslexic."
"Oh, oh . . . that's rough."

Episode 6:
Good dialogue.
"Yeah, I think I'd feel naked without my kidney."
"Yeah, but you wouldn't feel anything . . . because you'd be dead."

OK, I'm some kind of freak. (At least that's what my big bro says.) But I find these very amusing. My little bro is at Temple now- the Temple Owls. I sent him the link. Let's see if he is weird like me or normal like our dumbass big bro.

Yay besson3c! Fun stuff!

Adding a "just kidding" does not make any less offensive.

No more than asserting very strongly that something that I like sucks.

besson3c, making a personal insult from the fact that you miss someone else's humor is not funny either. Really. There are a number of ways to express that - if such expression is actually necessary. Be nice.

I honestly meant no degree of seriousness in my comment, it was supposed to be a funny desperate helpless retaliation, but I apologize to Macosnerd nonetheless.

It doesn't 100% click.

The schtick is funny, and the performer is funny, but they don't make a particularly good match.

The performer's strong suit is energy. He's kind of a spaz.

I think the schtick needs to be more low-energy deadpan.

like if the owl climbs a tree and flies away, and then the guy trys the same and after he lands on his face the owl flies back and the guy asks "how come i can't fly and you can?" "because i'm an owl" ??

That wouldn't work at all. The whole point is that the owl is doing nothing owl-like.
