hello fellow macnners. I am in the process of choosing where to go this summer for vacation, and there are three, count them, THREE places that I would like to go. Whatever place gets the most amount of votes, that is where I will go. That's right, you members at macnn get to choose, from the three, where I go on vacaton this summer. I will at this place of choice for one month.

1) Australia- even though it will be winter there during the summer, I've always wanted to go. Lots to see, and lots to do.

2) Japan- very different culture, which is something that I would enjoy, itense history, the music is so wonderful it would be great to actually hear it in person. My dad knows people there, so I would already have a place to live.

3) Hawaii- Have been there before, but when I was 5. Would love to just spend as much time outside, roaming and such. Again the music there is just awesome.


So, that is it MacNN, my vacation destination is now in your hands. Choose well

Yes. It will be winter down here, but there's still lots to see and do. And depending on where you are in the country (say north), "winter" usually means 15°-30°C anyway

I would say Japan, but Australia would just as fun if it is the time of year you want to go.

After just spending a week in Maui myself....I most definitely vote Hawaii.

yep. kinda of a get away from all things familiar, be by myself on a major trip for the first time type deal.

I think you should go to the second Australia.

Nah, seriously, I would say Hawaii or Japan. Both are nice for different reasons. I wouldn't go anywhere it's winter unless you're just a big skier. But that's just me. People almost always think my vacation plans are odd.
