That's pretty cool I supposed. Pretty inexpensive, those little packages that warm your hands add up real fast.

Yeah, right, if you keep it in a heated oven.

There is no way on earth it will stay warm that long. Even if you have it burning continuously, it'll run out of fluid much sooner than that.

My dad used to have an item like that (actually, he probably still has it as he NEVER throws anything away) made by Zippo that we used when we went ice fishing or snowmobiling.

I should buy him a new one.

I had one of those back in the 70s. The wick just kinda smolders, and the cotton would soak up a LOT of fuel. It worked well and for a damned long time. I can see it lasting 24 hours. Never was outside that freaking long.
As long as you kept it in the felt bag it came with it was pretty warm, but still comfortable enough to hold.
They made a bigger one you wore in a pouch on your chest to warm your whole body.
My deer hunter friends swore by them.
