Aside from the politics of the whole thing, it's pretty cool that Keynote was the platform for the slideshow that helped win the Nobel Peace Prize this year:

Giving apple kudos for helping Gore win the Nobel prize because he used a Mac really a stretch.

Had he used a PC, it could have been like "beep beep beep beep" and then half of his work would have been gone. Then he'd have had to write it again, and do it fast, so it wouldn't have been as good Thus, the Mac helped him win the prize

I'll say this -- Probably the two most famous slideshows of contemporary times are:
1. Al Gore on climate change
2. Colin Powell on Iraqi weapons of mass destruction

...and it's nice to know that #1 was crafted in Keynote, and #2 in Powerpoint

For some reason I remember transitions during his documentary presentation that were definitely Keynote.

As a shareholder of Apple, it would be in his best interest to use Keynote, which by doing so would promote it in a roundabout way.
