gofridge was happy to see the Bears win today, but gofridge was sad that the Eagles had to lose for the Bears to win.

gofridge wishes there were a way for the Bears and Eagles to both win when playing against each other. That way gofridge would never again be forced to be happy and sad at the same time.

No threads about other members!

I'm sad that the damned Broncos are beating the Steelers 21-7 right now at the half!

The Eagles are trying really hard to throw this season away. I still think they'll make the playoffs, but home field would've been nice.

Impressive last drive. One bad team beating another bad team.

Oh ok...well then, agreed.

(I asked because your post sounded in present tense, and I thought you were talking about the game on now. Now it makes sense the other way too.)

Broncos win. I just read that Griese's helmet mic went out so he was calling all the plays on his own instead of listening to Ron Turner... maybe we should do that more.

I'm glad I don't worry about this stuff -- I'm too into chicks and music.

The Eagles aren't bad; they're just... slow right now. They'll get it together in time.

I'm actually impressed with how good they've been defensively (last drive excepted) without Dawkins. Now if they could just execute in the red zone...

gofridge is conflicted again. As excited as gofridge gets when gofridge gets to see both of The Fridge's NFL teams at the same time, it makes gofridge sad that this means that one The Fridge's teams must lose when this happens. gofridge wonders if it would be better if the Bears never played the Eagles.

Or a naked bootleg. That was merely one blunder in a game filled with them. 2 missed FGs, a muffed punt, 2 turnovers, and, worst of all, they made Kyle "I'm Not Even A Journeyman Because No One Else Wants Me" Orton look like Jim Kelly. This is the second game where the Eagles have been dominant at times -- Chicago had 0 first downs in the 3rd -- only to lose it at the end. They better improve quickly.
