anyone use this? $40 a month sounds great, i imagine it's slow though. also it looks like all they have is a type ii pc card, those don't work with macs. do they?

only available in three markets or so but ys, its Mac compatible.

look into clearwie instead though. lots faster.

clearwire doesn't work at my house, the towers reach out only 5 miles and i'm apparantely 6 miles from the closest one. how would cricket work with a mac looks like it's a type II pc card, do any macs even have those slots?

pay attention to the fine print. All cellular wireless plans I've seen have high-end restrictions (5-10 GB/mo. caps; provisions for them to cut you off if you use too much, e.g., for torrents).
