Gichuki Kabukuru of the Kenya Wildlife Service told the Telegraph that monkeys and baboons commonly harass women, gesturing at them and touching their own private parts.

"Even in our camps," he explained, "when men are out on patrol and the monkeys see women and children, they will become very naughty and make lewd signs at them."

Residents of the Kabete region south of the capital, Nairobi, say women harvesting crops have taken to dressing as men to avoid being bothered by the perverted primates.

Primates seem to have many undesirable behaviors. Read some of Jane Goodall's books - she saw wars, cannibalism, rape, murder, etc.

That's actually a step up compared to a bar I used to frequent.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

Someone had to say it...

Huh. So, if monkeys attacks to you curl up in a ball and lie still until the monkeys get bored (as per a bear attack) or do you try to make yourself big and frightening to discourage the monkey attack (as per mountain lion attack)?

Btw, I absolutely loath monkeys. Hate chimps as well. Like Gorillas and Orangutans just fine. Kinda psychotic, I realize, but I make it work for me.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

Speaking of monkeys, have any of you played with the University of St. Andrews Face Transformer? It's really cool -- lets you upload a photo and transform it to different ethnicities, some artistic renderings, and half-ape.

That's me normal, as a South Asian, and as a half-ape, respectively

Ya know, there are normal everyday people who actually look like those last two pics.

Pretty neat thing tho.
