IGN: RPG Cliches That Need To Die

If you ever played a RPG, then quite a few of these will sound familiar. Most RPGs will have several of these in the same game. I just finished playing NWN2 and the expansion, both of which had seven of these cliches.

For people who play Pen & Paper RPGs, Eberron is about as cliche as you can get. Or as we like to call it, 3rd Grade Edition; cuz the guy who designed it never left the 8-year-old mentality.

Eberron is horrible! It's a completely worthless pile of sh*t, WotC should have just stuck with FR, Krynn, or even brought back Greyhawk. However, I think there are copyright issues w/ Gary Gygax that make the last choice all but impossible.

I still play a little AD&D with some old friends and we use 2nd Edition rules, though heavily modified, one DM runs a Krynn campaign and the other runs Greyhawk.
