I missed the Office last week, and tried watching it, and it started playing? I remember I tried watching a heroes a few weeks ago and it didn't work? I'm watching the new office right now, but what's the deal, did they just quietly add mac support?

Are you talking about Hulu? Its Flash based, isn't it? Why wouldn't it work on Macs?

Heroes has worked on Macs since the beginning of the season.

No, not Hulu. Nbc.com's full length episodes. I think Hulu is still "invite-only" and I'm not cool enough to have one.

I disagree that heroes has worked since the beginning of the season, I definitely remember a)there being a huge uproar cause NBC took videos off iTunes, and their site was windows only, so they left all the mac users out in the cold and b) I tried heroes the week they put up the first episode, and I got audio only, no video.

Either way, I'm stoked I just found out this works, I've literally been making my monday nights free just for heroes because I have no DVR any more and the only way to watch it was live. Nice!!!

And I disagree with your disagreement. I've been watching Heroes on NBC's website since the season premier.

Then why didn't you tell me!!!

I must be delusional, I could have sworn I tried and it didn't work. Whatever, I'm just glad this options available now (or at least that I know it's available).

This thread led me to think NBC was windows only. http://forums.macnn.com/89/macnn-lou...nbc-could-get/

I remember trying to watch an NBC show when I first read that thread, and it wouldn't work on my MacBook. It does now though.

Thanks for finding that thread Railroader, that's exactly the one I was thinking of that led me to think NBC was screwing mac users just cause they were pissed at Apple. And I remember I tried it on my macbook too, and it didn't work (it obviously does now as well) but I was just taking Laminar at his word that it's worked the whole time for him.

Actually you're right, I do remember NBC saying it wouldn't work on Macs and being surprised that it did work.

I tried watching it last season, and it worked as well as it does on a PC, but that ain't saying much. The videos on NBC's Web site are horrible quality.
