For the past 5 or 6 years, I've been using a Blue & White G3 Mac with a PCI TV card, connected to an LCD, as my bedroom television. It has worked great over the year, especially for Playstation 2. But (thanks to those Boston RedSox) I recently bought an amazing 26" HDTV. So I'm going to sell my old setup, probably on Craigslist or eBay.

I'm wondering what you guys think a setup like this could go for:

I'm thinking I'm going to aim kinda high. Thoughts?

Oh. Most for sale forums have rules against "feeler" posts. And since I don't actually expect any of yous to buy this contraption, since I'm not going to ship it, this seemed like a good place for it. But if an admin type wants to move this thread, go for it.

For the life of me, I cannot imagine anyone wanting to buy anything like that. So... I'd say... maybe $20?

no way. many of the parts are worth more than that. The remote is easily worth $20, the monitor could catch $60, the G4 zif a few bucks, etc.

I think craigslist is definitely the way to go as some people there may want everything already setup so that they don't have to upgrade anything.

I'm not sure how the transition to digital broadcasts will affect this though.

That's about what I'd pay for it.

I really wasn't asking how much people who didn't want it would pay for it, I was more looking to see how much it was worth. Thanks anyway though

Worth = what people would pay for something.

It's worth nothing to me. So, that's what I say it's price should be. Nothing.
