I don't get it. They release a poster like this:

Why aren't they making these in high def resolutions? And that, while the logo for the film is available in high def:

The internet is such a big anticipation engine which should be fueled with goodies and such to create attraction. Having a wallpaper of a movie staring at you the whole day creates that kind of desire to see it when it comes out.

And that Indy poster would make quite an attractor!

Maybe the producers want people to buy the poster and not just print their own?

Good point, but does printing the poster from a high def image give the same quality as the one bought? It might be more expensive(when getting the same quality) or terrible(when resolution isn't sufficient).

hmm, most movies that i become interested in enough to go visit their website; always has wallpaper and skins to download. why not wait until the press machine starts rolling and you will get one on the official site then? they usually appear after the first teaser or trailer.

If you have a wide format printer and the right paper stock (or vinyl), the poster might look the same but have a different texture. I think posters like this are silk screened.

Can't wait for the trailer. I hope he passes his hat in this movie (and not from dying.)
