A friend of mine recommended ebay, so I order a 4 yr subscription to maxim for $5 or so, been over 4 months have yet to receive any magazines. I assume that this was a scam. I would like to get 5 subscriptions or so, but there a million websites to order them all different prices.

They're not cheaper if they never turn up.

I've used these guys before USS Online - Welcome

They seem to be cheap, and the service is pretty good. (I've canceled subscriptions mid way through and transfered the credit to something new)

Do you know if is it possible to get subscriptions overseas?, I am currently subscribed to two US magazines and they come kind of expensive…

I guess they don't, once you create a new account, the closest thing to Europe is ARMY Europe…

Go with the publisher. You may get a lower price somewhere else, but you'll also 1) get on a bunch of mailing lists, 2) not necessarily get the length of subscription you think (if you get it at all), and 3) there's no guarantee that the lower priced subscription services will act in a timely manner.

I've actually had a subscription hijacked this way. Fortunately, National Geographic knew about the particular service I tried to use, and they provided the documentation I needed to "suggest" that the service refund my money.

I use my airline miles, best bang for the buck.

Check with your airline's frequent flier program.
