I want nothing but peace in the world. really.

If he can't swing that, I'll take a couple of DVDs - The Third Man, the new new new Blade Runner release, and perhaps all of Europe.

I'm pretty content, I don't want anything.

I usually have the freedom to get what I want/need through out the year. Besides, I'm more interested in getting stuff for my kids and let them enjoy the season.

If I had one wish that I could wish this holiday season, it would be that all the children to join hands and sing together in the spirit of harmony and peace. If I had two wishes I could make this holiday season, the first would be for all the children of the world to join hands and sing in the spirit of harmony and peace. And the second would be for 30 million dollars a month to be given to me, tax-free in a Swiss bank account. You know, if I had three wishes I could make this holiday season, the first, of course, would be for all the children of the world to get together and sing, the second would be for the 30 million dollars every month to me, and the third would be for encompassing power over every living being in the entire universe. And if I had four wishes that I could make this holiday season, the first would be the crap about the kids definitely, the second would be for the 30 million, the third would be for all the power, and the fourth would be to set aside one month each year to have an extended 31-day orgasm, to be brought out slowly by Rosanna Arquette and that model Paulina-somebody, I can't think of her name. Of course my lovely wife can come too and she's behind me one hundred percent here, I guarantee it. Wait a minute, maybe the sex thing should be the first wish, so if I made that the first wish, because it could all go boom tomorrow, then what do you got, y'know? No, no, the kids, the kids singing would be great, that would be nice. But wait a minute, who am I kidding? They're not going to be able to get all those kids together. I mean, the logistics of the thing is impossible, more trouble than it's worth! So -- we reorganize! Here we go. First, the sex thing. We go with that. Second, the money. No, we got with the power second, then the money. And then the kids. Oh wait, oh jeez, I forgot about revenge against my enemies! Okay, I need revenge against all my enemies, they should die like pigs in hell! That would be my fourth wish. And, of course, my fifth wish would be for all the children of the world to join hands and sing together in the spirit of harmony and peace. Thank you everybody and Merry Christmas.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Technically, if the aforesaid pigs are in hell they are already dead.

I'd love for the entire internet to just be turned off from Dec. 24th to Dec. 26th, to get people to use their time for something sensible.

Barring that, just switching off the MacNN Lounge would be almost as good.

Not really sure what I want. A Seahawks Super Bowl win would be sweet. Also, I wouldn't mind a new shirt or two.

Get her a snack. (And be thankful she's not at the age where she wants more expensive things for Christmas.)

We talked about this last night - for me Christmas is far more about family and friends than anything else. So I think this year will be the last year that we give each other presents and the money will go to charity from the next year onwards.

Same as last year:

Santa really messed up last year. If he messes up again this year I'm gonna start thinking he's just some kiddies' story or something.

My list:
-Clothes
-Hydraulic jack/jack stands
-100+ piece mechanic's toolset

I picked up a digital camera for my parents, a full set of pedicure supplies for my little sister, a personalized Hawkeye framed thing for my sister and her husband, and a digital photo frame for my girlfriend (loaded with 100+ pictures already).

I have no idea what I want this year. It seems like the older I get, the harder it gets.

I think I'm asking for some modern furniture pieces, a new Mac keyboard, and some other random things.

thought of one more thing, well a couple anyways. 1) a cheap way of hooking up a second external monitor to my mbp, or 2) a 30'' cinema display, which would be just as good

That doesn’t bode well for me. I feel the same way: it seems to get increasingly harder to think of things to want for birthdays/christmas the older I get, and I can’t think of anything I want, either. And I’m 25.
