OK, I'm in the market for another leather coat or jacket. I have found a couple Dainese ones that I like but I wanted to see if you folks on the forum can suggest some that I may have missed. So, suggest away.

Here's my current one that I wear the most.

And here's the two Dainese ones that I'm thinking about getting.

The first one has a very star trek feel to me (nothing wrong with that). I think the dude in the second one is coloring my impression of the coat, or it could be the lining coming out the neck, but it feels kinda lame-o.

Do you ride a motorcycle? Because otherwise those look a bit silly. And even though the guy in the second has a definite dweeb vibe, I like his jacket better.

My leather jackets are both black, I do both the button and zipper thing.

Yes, I do. But I am open to different brands, colors, and styles.

I'm not sure, Oreo. I have to find a Dainese retailer that has them to ask.

I just realized we could do nefarious things to Mally's pic. How has the rest of the forum not realized this as well?

Hey, Oreo, I just did some calling around. The first jacket is new and the dealers don't have them in stock yet. The dealer is going to call me tomorrow with a price.

Those are very nice jackets.

(not that there's anything wrong with that...)

There's a great Dianese leather jacket with metal (possibly titanium?) shoulderplating externally (mostly aesthetic, I imagine) - prob the nicest motorcycle jacket I've seen. I'd have bought one myself but it was around 900 Euros (or $900 AUD, can't remember which) and they don't sell them in Australia.

I'd have posted it here bu the Dianese website blows.

I checked their website, but I couldn't find the models Mally had posted here. Such a shame leather jackets are so damn expensive!
