I'm looking for a solution for a friend who's not allowed to have wires, cords, belts, laces, you get the idea. This person has a non-ipod mp3 player but the orderlies won't allow it because of the headphones issue. I've found wireless headphones where the base station has wires (no good), and I've found truly wireless headphones for ipods (out). Is there anything for me? Any good search terms? I'm pessimistic because the transmitter is going to need power, but I hope someone knows about something.

Knowing what MP3 player she's got would be helpful.

I recently got a pair of A2DP headphones for my Verizon nV, and I love it. I can't imagine myself switching to a bluetooth-crippled device like the iPhone.

BTW. I got the BSH01. Google it.

It's a Creative MuVo. Still looking for a solution, but the urgency has passed.

Are there any bluetooth mp3 players that don't also happen to be phones?
