I'm sure most of us have seen the banner and its associated ads, so what does everyone think about Verizon's guarantee of $27.99/month DSL service for life? I don't think it's all that wise on the part of a corporation to make such a claim, given economic realities. What do you think the chances are that they'll actually follow through?

Ten years from now 27.99 will probably be a rip-off for 3mbps internet.
