I'm having a hard time deciding between Kary and Kirsten. Yes it has something to do with me having a "thing" about redheads. But seriously, they both seem to be at least a bit more "grown up" than a lot of the others. Morgan is a contender too, but not quite in the same category as Kary and Kirsten-and not just because she has darker hair, either.

I think I have to go with Kari, but there's something about Veronica Belmont that I find surprisingly cute (also because I'm a brunette guy, not a redhead guy).

Erica Sadun must be pretty hot. Although I've never seen a picture of her, she should get a nomination for her work in iPhone development in 2007.

How is having a blog being "geeky" exactly? Seems the bar is pretty low to be on that list.

All of three male geeks submitted, and none of them are remotely good-looking. How predictable.

(Why are there two Karys—or should that be Karies?—on there?)

I voted for the following lovelies.
  • Kirsten Sanford*: Red hair, freckles, and grey-blue eyes (insert drooling emoticon here)
  • Jacqui Cheng: She's pretty cute, but not hot, but she is the Apple-girl over at Ars and that gets her major points.
  • Danica McKellar: Brains and Beauty, what more could you want.
  • Kara Cooney, PhD: Combines smarts, sexy, low-key styling, and a worldly flair (doing archaeology digs in Egypt).
  • Franziska Michor: Young, super-smart, sexy, European blonde.

*I just looked at here website and she goes by the name Kiki. Aaaggghhhhhhhh! (falls to the ground in a puddle of intellectual and physical lust)

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

I pick…all of them. Well, the females anyway.

Heh, an unsurprising number of non-geeks and plain-looking dudes.

Got my vote:
Jade Raymond

Sarah Meyers (who I had not heard of but her Web site seems geeky enough and she's definitely cute)

Danica McKellar (who is not actually that hot IMO, but anybody who can be that enthusiastic about math gets my vote)

"Dr. Kiki" makes me want to claw my ears off.

Hmmm...

Tough choice.

I watch a lot of Myth Busters, so Kary gets high marks. I have Justine Ezarik as a MySpace buddy and is her hotness transcends her geek status. Amanda Congdon might be my pick but I haven't kept up with her since she left her video podcast back in '06, and then is an '07 poll.

I hadn't heard of Natali Del Conte before, but she is 11 different kinds of hot.

So, I'd say it's a tie between Natali and Justine.

Best looking picture of Blair Butler I've ever seen.

I want her to be hot, but I usually have to squint a little.

She admitted at last year's E3 that she doesn't play video games. It can't have helped her in the geek credibility department.

I was fully expecting her to make the list based on her G4 asssociation, so kudos to Wired for not including her.

P.S. She's 10 times hotter in this pic than I've ever seen her before.
