What: NN meetup for lunch at MacWorld San Francisco
When: Tuesday January 15th at 1pm
Where: In front of the Canon booth
Who: Err, me at the very least.

I'll try to wear my MacNN nametag to make identification easier. Anyone else up for some post-keynote fooding?

Please, someone lend him an iPhone so he can reboot the MacNN server remotely when it crashes every 20 minutes.

Well unless I get hired at my new job in the next 48hrs, and they throw in a substantial hiring bonus, I won't be able to attend this year. Alas, I ask that you eat and drink heartedly, while keeping me in your heart.

I will most likely be at Best Buy telling people about service plans with the enthusiasm of a sedated sloth.
What, me worry?

For the rest of us who can't be there in person, we can eat lunch virtually at our keyboards clicking refresh every 10 seconds. Me? I'm having peanut butter and jelly.

So, if you realized that this was stupid, why not apologize in public ?

In my opinion, an apology would make you look less embarrassing than just sitting it out...

Since I have to be to work at 4PM (EST) I'm going to grab lunch around 11, bring it home and eat it while refreshing to keynote blogs at 12.

Trouble is I (as usual) can't decide what to get. I'm think maybe Subway going with my fairly healthy favorite (Roasted chicken, with lots of spinach, green peppers, tomatoes, black olives and a hint of honey mustard), or the meatball, green peppers, with provolone and Parmesan.

Which do you think goes better with a MWSF keynote?
What, me worry?

Why are you lining up BTW? Is it for the freebies? Or is it because you can't get in at all if you don't show up before 6 am?

I think it's first come/first served to get into the keynote address. There are only so many seats in there.

Yeah, but I was wondering if you need to show up that early just to get a seat. I wouldn't mind sitting at the back if I only had to line up at 7:30 or something. I'd still be in, and would still get the freebies.

I don't have Wifi access where I'm at. Using my iPhone to type this. 10 more minutes until we get in. There's about 2,000 people waiting in line. Half of them are still outside.

Apple usually doesn't handout freebees for keynote attendees. I recieved 1 freebee out of the 4 keynotes I've attended. Edge access is REALLY slow. It seems like every person waiting in line has an iPhone.
