Post your thoughts, comments, predictions, taunts, and trash-talk relating to the playoffs.

My thoughts? Damn, that snowstorm in GB sure looks fun! I love these old school, outdoor classics. The messier it gets, the better it is.

My picks this week:

Indy
Pats
Green Bay
Giants (I gotta pick one longshot)

That underhanded toss by Favre was pretty underhanded, if you're a seahawks fan.

What's your libation of choice this weekend? I've picked up a case of Heineken (green bottle for the Pack), and a case of Blue Moon for my Colts. The pizza and wings are on their way from the local purveyor of crusty, tangy goodness, and all is well with the world. w00t!

EDIT: and Favre is ON today, he's rockin' the scoreboard!

Kim, Sarra, and I are watching, though they aren't really beer lovers.

You can come over if you like though, we're pigging out and talkin' smack. Good times!

TD Pack!

OK, so far we have Green Bay. Now I'm off to the local watering hole to watch the real game for a bit. Then over to Shaddim's house.

Kim said, "don't bring that weak-ass Patriot **** to this house".

They think Jax has a chance, they're delusional.

yeah, I expected the GB-Seahawks game to be a lot closer.

This game, NE-Jax, has been really interesting, though. So far it's be talent (Pats) vs. desire (Jags), let's see who comes out fired up.

Ok, so now we have 2. Pack and Pats.

Shaddim, I woulda stopped but worried about your wife bottle cracking me.

So, now we have another day and 2 more teams fall.

Damn, them Jags put up a helluva fight. Pats D is soft and well... thank whomever for the Offense.

They're just hostile towards the Pats, for some odd reason.

I'm primed for a Colts/Pats rematch. If Indy can dust the Chargers, which they should, it could be one of the best playoff games in history.

I don't really care who wins the Colts/Chargers game (I'd like to see the Chargers win, it'd be a change of pace for the AFC championship game) but I definitely hope the Giants kick the Cowboys butts!

Good game. I'll be pulling for the Chargers next week, it seems. Hopefully Dallas can pull their game out so we can see a very good Green Bay Dallas match up.

That last drive by the Chargers...if the Colts' defense couldn't stop the Charger's back-up quarterback and running back, how could they even begin hoping they had enough to stop Brady and the Patriots?

Chargers deserved the win, but they're hurting badly going into next week's game.

I wonder if the reason they won was because I tithed 30% today....I guess I have to give my whole paycheck next week....

The Chargers put on a good show today, nothing is set in stone but I agree that any team wanting to beat the Pats has to go 100% for the entire game.

Should be an interesting game to say the least. It's gonna depend on the weather and if the Pats old defense can be up to the challenge. I'd rather play the Chargers than the Colts but they looked good today- or did the Colts just look bad?

Wow,

I couldn't believe the cowboys failed to pull it off. I don't care for either team, but the arrogance that the cowboys exhibited meant I was rooting for the giants.

I'm just back from Lambeau.

Fantastic game. The snow was just great, at times, you couldn't see the other end of the field.

Can't wait for the Giants to come to Lambeau next week. Yeah baby, bring it on.

Go Packers.

I don't think the Giants stand a chance at Lambeau. I picked Dallas, but really felt the Giants wanted it more. That's what happens when you spend 3 days in Mexico instead of the locker room during the off week.

regardless if it really mattered, the perception of him vacationing with jessica in mexico is going to to be fodder for the talking heads on espn.

I don't think brady, farve, or the manning boys would have done that.

I wasn't really slamming Romo, but when I heard before the weekend what each team did all week with the time off, it did make me wonder.

If only the Giants and Cowboys would both have lost, then I would be happy. Romo was becoming a crybaby there at the end. Ha!

I feel bad for the Colts, but I'm pretty happy with the way the other games turned out. I hate the Cowboys, so the post season isn't a total loss.

Here's for a San Diego/GB Super Bowl, and one last ring for Favre!

gofridge thanks the Chargers for taking revenge on the Colts for defeating the Bears in last year's Super Bowl. gofridge maintains that the Super Bowl loser is the real winner, but it still makes gofridge sad when the Bears lose.

gofridge will buy a Citizen watch if Eli Manning and the Giants defeat the evil Packers next week. How's that for an incentive, Eli?
